Bubba's Grub... formerly Big Al's Snack Shack is NOW OPEN!!! (at the tracks on Norwich in Woodstock)

I know more than one person in the neighborhood has been eagerly waiting for Big Al's Snack Shack to re-open. News came down the grapevine that it had, so I bicycled over today for some fresh-cut fries.

Well, it's open, but it's not Big Al's anymore. There's new owners, and it's called Bubba's Grub! Don't worry though... they've still got fresh-cut fries!!!

The new owners were very nice and took a moment to shake my hand and say hi. Decor is still being changed over, but they're open and the food is great! (I had the Newfie Poutine).

Flowers, Vegetables, Plants & More at Floral Express on Norwich Ave. in Woodstock!

The flowers were out in full color at The Floral Express on Norwich Ave. when I arrived on Friday morning.

These gorgeous lilies greeted me at the entrance when I walked in.

Next to them was a display of various green grasses and such.

Potted flower arrangements were everywhere!

Your Farm Market Opens Today in Woodstock, and the FRESH LOCAL Strawberries are Going FAST!!!

Hurray! Your Farm Market re-opened today for 2015! The hanging baskets were out front on display with plenty of variety and color to choose from.

There were lots of great looking herbs available too, just waiting to be planted in your garden!

Of course the cow was there, keeping watch over things. :-)

The local, fresh greenhouse tomatoes looked delicious!

63rd Annual Victoria Day Parade, Woodstock, Ontario (Woodstock Fairgrounds to Southside Park - May 18, 2015)

Monday, May 18 2015. It was a beautiful day for a Victoria Day parade.

The sun was shining. The temperature was soaring, and the bands were out in force.

It's not a parade without the Blues Brothers! :-)

Eastdale Public School had a classic ride to lead the way. Go Eastdale!

The Woodstock Farmer's Market is a busy place Saturday mornings, and this Saturday was no exception.

There were plants of every variety ready just waiting to go in your garden.

There was live music outside in the parking lot.

Local eggs, fresh off the farm from here in Oxford County.
